Believing is Seeing!

I had an amazing experience just moments ago. I was coming home from church and passed my “sitting bench where I listen to God” and lo and behold a HUGE bird passed over my car. I pulled over to the side, stopped and rolled down my window to get a better look. Believe it or not, the bird circled around and came back right straight for my car and passed in front of my window and then flew in front of the car and finally to the side, out of my vision. WOW! I realized it was a GOLDEN EAGLE! I knew we had them in the area, but I haven’t seen one in about 5 years. Well, maybe last year I saw two of them flying very high past my house. I watched those two closely, but they never came down for me to get a better look. Anyway, when I got home, I excitedly told my husband and ran out to the backyard to see if I could spot it. As I was telling him all about it, would you believe the eagle came RIGHT OVER our house and then flew off. WOW, WOW, WOW!

AND NOW… THE BEST PART…

Jonathon Welton was our speaker at The Gathering Place Church this morning. He has the gift of Discerning of Spirits. Following his presentation, I purchased his new book, Normal Christianity, and proceeded to stand in line to have him autograph it for me. I was bold and asked him to pray for me to receive an impartation, which he did. As I drove home, singing my heart out to the praise music on The Message, I let my heart believe that the veil would be lifted and I would see into the spiritual realm. Never in a million years would I have expected to literally see an eagle in the skies in my neighborhood or much less over my home!

Testimony

In December 2009, Jonathon was a guest on Sid Roth’s TV show, It’s Supernatural. I was fascinated by his discussion of his new book, The School of the Seers. At the end of the show, Sid asked him to pray for impartation for those watching the show. I was sitting in my recliner with my feet up, listening, and praying. At the end of his prayer, he said, “There is someone listening and the Father has a message for you. In fact, I see you with your feet up, like in a recliner. The Father wants you to know that he is with me.” Imagine my shock! Jonathon was speaking to me! You see, my father took his own life when I was 20 years old, during the same week this show was airing. That’s 39 years ago. In my heart, I always doubted whether I would see my father in heaven. Now I know I will. I received this as a belated birthday gift from the Lord. It brought such peace to my heart.

One other note…. in prophetic symbolism, the eagle represents the seer anointing. :0) And now you get it! Holy Spirit was speaking to me, “Mary, receive this gift. It’s yours!”

Just lift your hands and receive it in faith.
