You Light Up My Life

I will never forget my 2007 birthday. We had moved into our home that August. I have an heirloom chandelier that is always hung above my dining table. On December 2, 2007 I woke up and made my way to the kitchen and was stunned to see rainbow prisms all over my wall. Apparently, during the winter as the morning sun changes its arc, it plays off my chandelier and creates the prisms.

Before I go to bed, I like to go outside and look up into the sky. The stars were so brilliant last evening. The night’s clarity was breathtaking. I asked the Lord to keep the marine layer so prevalent in San Diego away. I wanted to see rainbows in the morning. He gave it to me in hearts! I woke up to rainbows. What a glorious sight as I walked out of my bedroom to greet the day. I thought, “Today is a day to elegantly feast on the Lord, my Bread.” He filled my foyer was such beauty. It was like angels were all around. I took a picture to record it. Before getting out of bed, I realized I had been dreaming about the Lord and I woke up with affirmations on my heart. This was my favorite:
