My Daughter ~ Be Faith-Full

Open my eyes to seeOn this day, I had a dream about about wind and trees.  I wrote the following in my journal to which the Lord replied with His word to me.

“Father, today I want to write my request. For some time I have gently asked Your Spirit to restore Your gift of prophetic words and visions. Lord, restore to me that sight of images and words and their interpretation. I have seen how it has helped others in the past and it enables my prayers to be more pointed and accurate. I know this gift is not for ourselves, but it is for others. There is that encouragement that comes to the one who receives those pictures and words. I am lonely, Lord, for others who share my passion. I want to be among the company of prophets as well as among those who need an encouraging word or prayer of agreement. Help me, Lord, and stir me up once more. Most especially, if You have called me to write and to teach, I don’t want it to be my words, but Yours in and through me. Restore and Rebuild, Lord. Increase my hunger for You and enliven my study of Your word. Amen.”

My Daughter,

This day is yours. Believe on Me and believe in My prophets. Recount the ways I show My favor. Do not be lax in your thanksgiving. For it is in giving thanks that more favor is given to you. Just as you know the pitcher fills and overflows, it goes both ways. There is an ebb and flow to every part of your life – spirit, soul and body – in thinking and in doing, in playing and in resting, in working and in enjoying the fruits of your labors.

Rest is probably the most important area I have for you. Continue in your study of My word as it is there that I join you in fullness. As you have asked, receive the impartation, the revelation and the understanding, and application.

You are in training now. A new day is just ahead. Do not be discouraged. Be faithful as I am faithful. Be full of faith as I impart that special gift of assurance as well as action to you.

I heard Matthew 13, the Parable of the Dragnet

The Lord Jesus had just given them the parables of the sower, wheat and tares, mustard seed, leaven, hidden treasure, pearl of great price and the dragnet. He said, “Have you understood all these things?” They replied, “yes, Lord.”

V 52 Then He said to them, “Therefore every scribe concerning [for] the Kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of this treasure things new and old.”

My Response…

Lord! This is wonderful! Deposit Your treasures in me that I might share them in such a way as these parables. And even now I see how urgently I need Your restoration of these word pictures in my mind. Cleanse my thoughts and train me once again, Holy Spirit.

2 Chronicles 20:20

So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”
