My Daughter ~ A Birthday Gift

Today is my 61st birthday. Amazing. As I read my Proverb chapter of the day, my eyes lighted upon verse 3 and my note of ASK! in the margin. “Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding.” So, Lord, it’s my birthday today. I want to ask YOU for Your gift of more Holy Spirit. I ask for more fruit of Your presence in my life according to Galatians 5:22 “love, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Reading on, verse 25 says, “Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.

Lead me, Lord, with instruction. Let me hear You, see You, sense You. Grant me the will to obey You in all things and be ready in all circumstances to respond by Your Spirit in me. Secondly, I ask for Your gifts according to 1 Corinthians 12 — whatever You’ve put in me, mature it in this year. But most especially, Lord, I want to SEE CLEARLY. It’s going to be a busy day today. Help me enjoy my birthday and not be caught up with needs and schedules. Help me to be at peace and enjoy myself. Is there anything You’d like to say, Father?

My Daughter,

You’ve done well these past months in learning patience and endurance. You’ve passed a test of life. These gifts will last your lifetime.

The privilege of your life in Me is beauty. I’ve given you the gift of appreciation. Even as I appreciate individuals and what I’ve placed in them, you see as I see. Every detail is divinely inspired.

My word says that it is the glory of a king to search out a matter. That’s a gift I’ve placed in you, My princess. One day you will be joined to Me as Esther, as My queen, My bride. You will know Me fully.

Look and see! I am in the center of everywhere and everything!
